The Pro Artibus foundation, The western Uusimaa Museum and Villa Skeppet is arranging the yearly event Kulturlänken/ Kulttuurilenkki on Friday 28th of October 17-19.30 p.m. The event is arranged during the Dark weekend in Raseborg and Hanko 28-30.10.2022.
This years event has two location, The Collection Warehouse Leira and Villa Skeppet. We would like to offer our guest something special during the dark times. Come by and get inspired with us. Free entrance!

Collection Warehouse Leira, Industrigatan 8

In the Collection Warehouse Leira you can take part in a nostalgic tour through the collections. You will find historic gems from several decades as well as encounter staff from Hanko museum, Fiskars Museum, Lohja museum, Vihti museum, Högfors museum and Western Uusimaa museum.

Villa Skeppet, Snäcksundsvägen 8

Experience Alvar Aalto’s architecture and a writer’s home. This evening we are opening the exhibition Architect Elissa Aalto 100 years.

Pro Artibus will show a video work from their art collections, Arkipelag by Gun Holmström. A meditative video work with islands, fragments of classical sculptures and the sea – elements that can also be found in Villa Skeppet’s interior and history. The video work will be in dialogue with Villa Skeppet and its milieu.
