The writer, director and actress Pirkko Saisio is considered Finland’s best living author. Her autofictional trilogy was recently translated into German by Elina Kritzokat: „The lowest common denominator” („Pienin yhteinen jaettava“), „Backlight” („Vastavalo“) and „The red book of farwells” („Punainen erokirja“), for which Pirkko Saisio received the prestigious Finlandia Prize.
