Ekenäs dialog – LIFE DREAMS

Experience a unique cultural festival in southern Finland, in the charming seaside town of Ekenäs (Tammisaari), just about an hour from Helsinki. Under the theme LIFE DREAMS, German, Finnish, and Finland-Swedish bestselling authors will come together.

The festival is inspired by the writers’ and artists’ residency SATAMA HOUSE, located in the center of Ekenäs. The residency is run by Annette Brüggemann and Damian Franzen, and has welcomed guests from all over the world since 2019.

This is the third time that Villa Skeppet has collaborated with Annette Brüggemann and SATAMA HOUSE. For Villa Skeppet, the connection to this festival is a natural one: Göran Schildt was a writer, and in the garden the conversation continues, in close dialogue with both the house and its architecture.
